Thailand's King's Controversy During Corona, Sleeping in a Luxury Hotel with 20 Concubines

Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn is again a matter of controversy. In the midst of the Corona pandemic, Raja Maha isolated himself in a luxury hotel in the Alps in Germany with 20 concubines.
According to reports, Raja Maha had booked the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. As quoted by Independent, the King quarantined his stay with 20 concubines and with hundreds of servants and bodyguards.
It is unknown whether the wife joined the group or not. The latest news says that there are 119 bodyguards who were repatriated back to Thailand due to respiratory illness.
The king's isolation at the luxury hotel provoked the anger of thousands of Thais. Even so, Thais cannot protest too vaguely because there is a law that speaks, where those who criticize the monarchy can be jailed for up to 15 years.
Even so, there has been a hashtag on Twitter which translates "why do we need a king? Which has been tweeted millions of times in the last 24 hours related to the King's flight to Germany. Meanwhile, the Corona pandemic continues to increase across Thailand.
Raja Maha is known for many controversies. The King is known as a playboy who often changes partners. Previously, he had been married three times.
In 2019, Raja Maha married for the fourth time to Suthida who was a former flight attendant who was appointed as his bodyguard. The marriage became a controversy because previously Suthida was his affair.
