Megawati grateful to President Zuma due to oust Sukarno and Sheikh Yusuf Al Makassari as the hero of South Africa.

Fifth president of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri received the visit of South African President Jacob Zuma at his private residence, Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Jakarta, Wednesday (08/03/2017).

During the meeting, Megawati thanked President Zuma due to oust first President Soekarno and Sheikh Yusuf Al Makassari as the hero of South Africa.

"Bung Karno was proclaimed Indonesia. Meanwhile, Sheikh Yusuf was a fighter from South Sulawesi who dumped the Netherlands to South Africa, and died there. There is also the hometown of Makassar in South Africa," said Megawati after meeting with President Zuma.

Chairman of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) explains, President Zuma also said the desire cooperation with Indonesia in the forestry and agricultural sectors.

In addition, continued Mega, President Zuma also wants to strengthen friendship PDIP with the African National Congress (ANC).

President Jacob Zuma admitted pleased to visit Indonesia and could meet Megawati.
