A large user base makes Facebook become strategic targets for sales. Potential is worked up seriously by going to such places selling marketplace.

Facebook previously tested a kind of bazaar selling in some areas in recent years. The market test seems confident enough to make up for open Marketplace.

Marketplace appears as a new feature in Facebook mobile. Function, allowing users to enter home furnishings, home, clothes or other goods for sale to other Facebook users near their territory.

Quoted from Cnet, Tuesday (04/09/2016), Marketplace purchase added to a group that already exist on Facebook. The difference is, the Marketplace does not require users to be approved before joining.

On Facebook in iOS and Android, Marketplace can be found at the bottom. But for now, the feature is only available to users in the United States, Britain, Australia and New Zealand.

Not yet known whether Facebook will expand its availability to other countries or not. So far, Facebook has only promised Marketplace will also be presented in the desktop version of Facebook.
